For smaller drop-off menus, two weeks is usually fine, and we’ll always try to help at shorter notice. Your date is secured once we receive a deposit and a signed confirmation. If you’re still finalising numbers, book the date first; we can adjust guest counts and menus closer to the event.

Yes. We operate nationally from our base in Poole, Dorset, serving weddings, corporate functions, private parties, festivals and breweries across the UK. Travel and logistics are quoted transparently based on distance, crew, and any tolls or parking required. For multi-day or long-distance events we may include reasonable accommodation. If you’re unsure whether we can reach you, share your postcode and timings and we’ll provide an exact estimate.

Absolutely. We offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free options, and can advise on halal-friendly choices. Our kitchen handles allergens, so while we follow strict procedures and label everything clearly, we cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination. Share specific requirements when enquiring, and we’ll tailor dishes such as salads, mezze, grilled specials and desserts accordingly. On the day, our team will brief servers, provide clear signage, and keep separate utensils where appropriate.

From street-food style gyros to elegant wedding banquets, our menus are fully flexible. Choose drop-off platters, buffet service, or full-service catering with chefs and front-of-house. Popular picks include gyros stations, mezze boards, souvlaki platters, Greek salads, grilled meats, seafood, vegetarian feasts and homemade desserts. We’ll tailor spice levels, portions and pacing to your event, and can design themed menus for breweries, festivals, office lunches or private dining.

Our full-service catering typically includes menu planning, chef preparation on-site or at our kitchen, setup of serving stations, eco or disposable serving ware, and friendly staff to serve and clear our area. Drop-off includes beautifully presented, ready-to-serve dishes with simple setup guidance. We can arrange hot-holding, chafing, crockery, cutlery, glassware and linen on request. After service, we tidy our workspace; venue-wide cleaning and waste removal can be added if required.

We’re known for generous Greek portions. As a guide, mains include hearty protein, salads and sides; add mezze to encourage sharing. Full-service events usually start from around 40 guests, while drop-off catering has a sensible minimum spend instead of a headcount. If numbers may grow, tell us early and we’ll plan a buffer. For mixed-age groups, we can suggest children’s portions and late-night bites to avoid food waste.

We provide itemised quotes covering food, staffing, equipment, travel and any extras agreed. To secure your date, a 25% deposit is typically required, with the balance due three days before the event once guest numbers are final. We accept bank transfer and major cards. Need a staged plan for a large booking? Just ask. Receipts and booking confirmations are emailed from admin@hellenicdevinebites.catering for your records.

We keep things fair and transparent. Date changes are free subject to availability. Cancellations 30+ days out incur admin only; 8-29 days may forfeit the deposit and any committed costs; within 7 days, up to 75% of the balance may be due. Final numbers can usually be adjusted until seven days prior. If severe weather affects outdoor service, we’ll work with you on safe alternatives or rescheduling.

Yes. For weddings and larger bookings, we offer private tastings at our kitchen or curated sample boxes for delivery or collection. There is a small fee to cover produce and chef time, credited against your event if you proceed. Tastings let you refine menus, spice levels and presentation. Share a shortlist of dishes and any dietary needs, and we’ll prepare a representative selection for you to try.

For hot service on-site, we typically need a clear prep area, access to potable water, and a safe power supply (standard 13A sockets; we can discuss 16A/32A where relevant). Please advise on parking, loading, lift access and any venue rules. Outdoor setups require a level 3x3m space for gazebo or equipment, plus weather cover. We hold public liability insurance and up-to-date food hygiene documentation for venues and events.
